Dear Molly Green Family,
As many of you know, in early Spring, we reopened our East Nashville location. It wasn't just reopening for us; we were in our feels. Our original East Nashville store, which also served as our studio and office, was destroyed by a tornado in 2020. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but the loss of that space and everything we had poured our hearts into was quite devastating.
Reopening in the same spot felt like a beautiful, full-circle moment. We were thrilled to bring Molly Green back to a community that means so much to us. Our new store quickly became a dreamy, serene space—where every visit felt like stepping into a soft, pink cloud. The lighting, the vibe, and, most importantly, the relationships we built with each of you have been magical.
However, as much as we've loved being back in East Nashville, sales and foot traffic have yet to reach the levels we need to sustain the store. Despite our best efforts, we only see a few visitors daily. As a business, we must make decisions that ensure our longevity and allow us to continue serving our customers in the best way possible.
With a heavy heart, we announce the closure of our East Nashville location this weekend. This decision is not easy, and it's a blow to our spirits. But part of running a successful business is knowing when to pivot, and that's what we're doing now.
While we say goodbye to this store, we're also excited to share that new opportunities are on the horizon for Molly Green. Stay tuned for an exciting announcement!
To our East Nashville community—thank you. Your support, visits, and kindness have meant the world to us. We've cherished every moment, conversation, and smile in our store.
And indeed, this isn't a goodbye to our incredible East Nashville team. They'll be transferring to our Hillsboro Village location, so you'll still see their sweet faces when you need a new pair of jeans, a dress for your friend's weddings, or to stop by and say hello!
Molly Green has always been about relationships—the bonds we share as a team or the connections we've built with all of you. Those relationships remain at the heart of everything we do.
