Fall Events Happening in Chattanooga

Goodbye hot girl summer, and a big hello to- well, hot girl autumn! We’re still in the south y’all, and even though it’s fall we are still getting some of that warm summer weather! But with the hills surrounding Chattanooga changing to amber and gold, we’re ready to go to catch a Chattanooga Mocs game and sip a latte at Frothy Monkey! Among many things we’re looking forward to this fall, here are some of our most anticipated events coming up in Chattanooga!

Dread Hollow: spooky season lovers

Spooky season is coming girls! And for our thrill lovers out there you must go to Dread Hollow! Presented by Ruby Falls, there are over 20,000 square feet of scares and fun! Aside from the traditional haunts, there are also four escape rooms to top it all off! Get your screams on this fall with some friends in your favorite sweater, tights, and boots to make the look complete- just make sure to not wear heels so you don’t fall from any jump scares!

Tennessee AquaScarium

For those that are not big fans of being scared, the Tennessee Aquarium will become the AquaScarium October 25th for a night of fun, costumes, and a mermaid or two! Anyone at any age can have a fun outing at this notorious aquarium, this would be a great night to show any out of town friends and family a great, family-friendly time!

Sunday Farmers Market

We love Whole Foods, don’t get us wrong. But you can’t get fresher produce at a great price like your local farmer’s market! Every Sunday the Farmers Market at the First Tennessee Pavilion boasts a large number of vendors selling their top produce and goods! Stock up your fridge with some in-season goods like arugula, figs, pears, zucchini, and much more! Rock your favorite pair of bell-bottoms, sunglasses, a reusable bag, and your smile!

Chattanooga Oktoberfest

Get your lederhosen and your pals, the 18th Annual Chattanooga Oktoberfest is coming! Located at the Sunday Farmers Market with over 200 vendors that have some of the finest produce and artisan goods, to music, entertainment, food, and of course- beer!
