Carve a Pumpkin and Roast the Seeds Image

What you’ll need:

1 pumpkin’s-worth of seeds

2 tbs of butter (melted)

1 tsp of creole seasoning

1/4 tsp of salt

Oven pre-heated to 300 degrees fahrenheit

STEP 1 : Cut a large hole in the top of the pumpkin large enough for your hand to fit in


STEP 2 : Scoop out all the seeds and pulp into a mixing bowl


STEP 3 : Rinse the seeds over a strainer until all the pulp is gone and all you’re left with is squeaky clean little seeds


STEP 4 : Dry your seeds on a bed of paper towels


STEP 5 : Transfer back to your mixing bowl and mix with melted butter, salt and creole seasoning


STEP 6 : Spread out the seeds on a parchment lined baking sheet


STEP 7 : Bake in the oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown and crunchy
